My current favorite product being advertised on tv is the Snuggie. It is a blanket with sleeves. I know that sounds idiotic, but the unintentional side effect is that it makes everyone who wears it look like a cult member. Check the madness here.
I couldn't put a finger on what made me laugh so hard about that commercial. Generally it's the vacant looks on the "actors" faces, but that's just common in infomercials.
It looks to me like fashion inspired by homeless people's newspaper ponchos.

I was thinking the same thing. I thought of buying one and walking around Southpoint Mall in Durham just to see everyone's reaction.
Well, I am of the opinion that any commercial written with a rhyme scheme must be for a pretty worthwhile product.
